A (Mostly) Gold-Tinged Mother's Day Gift Guide

Even before giving birth, I've often felt that being a mother is the most thankless (and underpaid!) job there is. Except, of course, for this one day out of the year when it's perfectly acceptable to show appreciation for all the special mother figures in your life who are worth their weight in gold.

So if you're having trouble coming up with the words to express your gratitude, I've picked out a few little trinkets that would (almost) do the job for you:

  1. A yummy champagne bath oil -- because what mother doesn't need a luxurious soak in the tub?
  2. My espresso machine at home delivers delicious individual serving lattes daily, but I quickly learned to appreciate the coffee press in Italy and this modern gold-toned one would be a chic addition to your brunch table.
  3. These whisks should do the trick for the baker who may be a little short on space in her kitchen for new gadgets.
  4. A fun little bit of office decor for the wise owl career mom.
  5. Is your mom/mother of your children a Betty? Or maybe just the tea-and-crumpets type? If so, she may appreciate this adorable little number.
  6. She has a heart of gold so let her wear her baby love's initial close to it with this Jennifer Zeuner gold vermeil pendant.
