I normally wouldn't dream of taking Ava to a movie theater but the playgroup we recently joined hosted a family-friendly night at the movies last night. Since everyone was bringing their babies of all ages, I figured they would understand if Ava screamed "Woo-Woo" (her name for dogs or just about anything furry) during the show. So we packed up a snugly blanket, some warm milk, and prepared to enjoy The Lorax. She sat through the previews like the perfect date, but by the time the feature started, she didn't want anything to do with sitting still. She wanted to go up and down the stairs with the glowing lights -- up and down, up and down, up and down, over and over and over. Then we left, before the movie ended, to make it home in time for bedtime. So I think I'll be taking my other Love on any movie dates for the next few years.
